Lettuce Red

This beautiful deep red leaf lettuce has thick glossy leaves. It is moderately slow growing and heat tolerant. It is slow bolting and has good shelf life.

Dark Lollo Rossa is a special selection of Lollo Rossa and the seed is screened for LMV (Lettuce Mosaic Virus). Lollo Rossa is slower growing than most other lettuce and is used in baby leaf mixes and as small heads.

Kremlin red leaf is bold with deep green heads edged in bronze frills. Heads are full and upright and heavy for their size, bolt tolerant, and matched in maturity to many green leaf types. Baby leaves are frilly and round, deep green with bronze ‘freckles’ and edges, adding loft and crunch to salad mixes. The center rib is narrow and flat.

Red Hot looks like Lolla Rossa lettuce with a looser curl. Fan-shaped leaves are cherry to wine red. It is vigorous, upright, and easy to cut.
