With excellent uniformity and fancy dense heads, Green Gold is used for “Asian Crown” cut (meaning very short petioles with a rounded head). Heat tolerance is not quite as good as Emerald Crown, which it otherwise resembles. Use in early spring and main-season fall harvest.

This widely adapted, bright green variety features good field holding for spring or fall crops. It is the best choice for growers that use side shoots.

Widely-adapted and dependable, fancy quality heads. Sturdy and heavy so very good for crown-cut. Good uniformity and holding ability. The best for side-shoot production. Downy Mildew resistant.

Heirloom Italian type broccoli often used for microgreens. Grown full-sized, it makes will make a head with large beads and then many side shoots if kept harvested. Best for fall or cool weather crops.

Uniform and productive. Beautiful, smooth domed heads will hold well in the field.

Imperial need warm days for best quality. Widely adapted, it can be used in winter in the South. Imperial should be used for crown-cut only where it would make sturdy, large, heavy heads. Imperial is earlier maturing in spring, later in fall.

Imperial produces fancy quality in warm weather. In fact, it needs warm weather to make good, dense heads. Good for spring, summer and early fall crops (and in winter in the South). If you think your conditions are too warm to grow broccoli, give Imperial a try. Best for crown cut.  Imperial maturity may be affected by heat/day-length.

Ironman is a broccoli hybrid that produces high quality crowns, suitable for Fresh Market bunching and crown as well as processing.

Perfect for a specialty market,  Jacaranda makes a unique, purple head with early maturity.  Easy to grow, although we recommend avoiding the first crops in early spring.

Extra early maturing. Upright plant with dark green, fine-dome shaped, smooth head. Tolerant strongly to heat. Suitable for spring, summer and autumn production, especially for summer harvesting. Holds well for extra-early maturity class.
