Imperial Broccoli (Not Treated)
Imperial need warm days for best quality. Widely adapted, it can be used in winter in the South. Imperial should be used for crown-cut only where it would make sturdy, large, heavy heads. Imperial is earlier maturing in spring, later in fall.

Imperial produces fancy quality in warm weather. In fact, it needs warm weather to make good, dense heads. Good for spring, summer and early fall crops (and in winter in the South). If you think your conditions are too warm to grow broccoli, give Imperial a try. Best for crown cut. Imperial maturity may be affected by heat/day-length.
