SW 9696 Organic
Recent introduction to the SEEDWAY Organic line that produces dependable yields of both grain and silage with ears that normally fill to the tip. Adapted genetics plus proven performance in the Northeast market. A very consistent performer in field after field with a very clean and uniform appearance. It gets off to a fast start even in cold soils and is well suited to early planting and reduced tillage practices. The leafy plant helps shade the soil to deter weed growth later in the season. First choice for the tough acre, droughty soils or where heat and stress is expected. Resists Anthracnose Stalk Rot. Seed comes untreated.

SW 9726TR (RIB)
Showcases the exciting Trecepta® technology in high-caliber genetics bringing improved control of Western Bean Cutworm and Corn Earworm. The large, girthy ear flowers late for the maturity and dries down fast bearing exceptional yields of grain on the cob. A softer kernel texture of the grain paired with the exceptional tonnage of the robust plant produces a lot of high quality feed. Outstanding husk coverage helps ward off bird damage and protect the grain. Massive ears have a lot of flex and adapt to lower plant populations to maintain high yield. Only available in a Trecepta® RIB Complete® technology trait package without Corn Rootworm protection.

SW 9797DV (E-Z)
New, 97RM hybrid with premium DuracadeViptera™ traits fending off both above and below ground insects to protect yield, standability, and quality. Position on both grain and silage acres due to enhanced forage quality ratings. A fairly tall plant with a more moderate ear placement and strong stalks and roots for reliable standability. Very uniform ear development down the row plus very good tip fill and husk coverage. The shorter shank tends to hide the ear size and can benefit from a healthy plant population due to a more determinant ear. Adapted to all yield environments, but shines on the better soils with good management. Fights off Tar Spot with the best of them in the maturity where it is an economic concern.

SW 9822VT (RIB)
It’s all about yield, ranking #1 in its maturity out of more than 50 entries in 2023 SEEDWAY Research Trials with rapid grain drydown. A good-sized plant with a more moderate ear height and an ear that is girthy with some flex. Recommended for both silage and grain use with excellent Anthracnose Stalk Rot ratings to protect standability until harvest. Adapted to the more moderate yield acre and plant density with the ability to move north and south of zone. Only available in a VT Double PRO® RIB Complete® technology trait package so use where Corn Rootworm is not a concern.

SW 9876SS (RIB)
Tall, brawny plant with a girthier ear positioned at a more moderate height on the plant produces more average test weight grain. Silage tonnage should be top notch and the softer kernel texture is a recipe for highly digestible starch. Moves both north and south of zone and can still get the job done at a more moderate plant population. Excellent Anthracnose Stalk Rot ratings support dependable standability and plant integrity plus a good choice where Tar Spot pressure is expected to be high. Only available in a SmartStax® RIB Complete® technology trait package.

SW Annual Pollinator Mix
SW Annual Pollinator Mix is formulated to not only be a beneficial pollinator mix, but an excellent cover crop mix that will build the soil with nitrogen and organic matter. Since the mix is annual, timing is important for proper planting time and should be sown early enough to have bloom for the pollinator species. Spring planting or early fall is ideal. Seeding rate: 25-30 lbs per acre.
-
SW Perennial Eastern Pollinator Mix
This flower mixture is for pollinator conservation in the eastern United States and southeast Canada. The western planting boundary would be a line straight south from the eastern borders of North and South Dakota. It contains a balanced blend of native annuals and perennials that provide nectar and pollen throughout the growing season. If you have specific mix requirements for pollinator conservation projects, please contact us regarding a custom mix for your area. Seeding Rate: 12-24 lbs. per acre.
-
SW Perennial Monarch Butterfly Mix
Monarch populations have been in decline for a number of years, and the loss of nectar sources and milkweeds has been indicated as a major contributor to these declines. This mixture is composed of native wildflowers, garden flowers and milkweeds which supply nectar sources for adult monarchs. Milkweeds are utilized for egg-laying and provide food for monarch larvae. This mixture is appropriate for home gardens, commercial landscaping, gold courses and other maintained sites. Seeding Rate: 12-24 lbs. per acre.
